On this week’s adventure, Austin and Alex headed out to the Napa River this week to check out the Striper bite everyone has been talking about, we started off trolling out in the sloughs, just using rattle traps. We picked up 3 fish, using a shad pattern, then we headed to another spot and saw fish jumping so we anchored up and started casting to the fish and jigging and picked up two more. We kept our troll speed around 3 Mph and had our lures around 100 ft behind the boat. Striper bites have been good get out there and get catching.
